Come with Oxigen in Montenegro

Oxigen association invite you between June 12, 2014 and June 15, 2014 in Montenegro. We will do an expedition on the highest peak in Dortmund Park – Bobotov Kuk (2523m), rafting on Tara (18 kilometers – the deepest canyon in Europe), we will eat Serbian and we’ll have Romanian fun with campfire.

Usually, I write for myself. But now I am writing for nature. Why?

Because the nature was my first, second, third (and so on) house lately. There, in the nature, I can be with myself. I can forget for good all the social rules and be myself. I can interact with everthing that lives around me: bug, grass, the movement of the earth’s breath, the air embaling me, the light following me and the wind caressing me.

It may look like a clishee, i know, but those are unique feelings. Everybody feels them differently. And even for that difference between people, I feel sorry and pitty for those of us who can’t or don’t know how to appreciate the nature as it has to be appreciated.

For those people who understand by ‘going in the nature’ just a barbeque at the city limits. This is an activity as well, nothing’s bothering me. We have to understand that not everybody can go climbing, scuba diving or love the animals and plants. Unfortunately, these people don’t come just to enjoy the sights, sitting by the barbeque. They manage to lock up their neurons by digesting dozens of Mici. In this neuronal blindness, they forget to take the trash, to rake out the fire and to clean barbeque site.

Out of this grief for nature, I write for it. When people lose something, they tend to replace it. The most important thing is that we have to benefit from that replacement. I found ‘the replacement’ in nature by the expeditions organized by the Oxigen Association.

For some time, the nature became my home, the most kind of all, the main source of emotion, good vibrations, soft whispers which helped me move forward.

I’ve been living in nature and loving the nature since forever, but now, as I said earlier, I’ve discovered the nature as my own home and anyone or anything who steps with his boots on in ‘this house of mine’ makes me bitter.

Workshop – internship for Bachelor and Master students

Oxygen Organization invites you Wednesday, on 23^rd of April, to attend the applied workshop for Bachelor and Master students. It takes place at R2 Amphitheatre at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Bucharest.

The students attending Oxygen workshop receive internship certificate (number of hours, promptitude, applied knowledge acquirement); evaluation and volunteerism certificate.

“Oxygenation” at the Royal Marathon!

Corporeanima and Oxygen Organizations plan the 3^rd edition of the Royal Marathon.

The Royal Marathon takes place every year on the 10^th of May as it is Royalty Day in Romania. This date represented Romania’s National Day from 1867 until 1947.

There are two types of races: marathon (42,195 km representing 4 tours of race itinerary, approximate time – 6 hours) and half-marathon (21,097 km representing 2 tours of race itinerary, approximate time – 4 1/2 hours). Start is at 8 o’clock for both races.

Oxygen Organization participates at this event both as competitor and organizer due to our wish to support its main cause, to be active and helpful and to set an example for others.

Who’s with us? Everyone is welcomed!

Registration is already open for runners until the 1^st of May. There are 300 places available for both races. The prizes are Platinum passes (full) at the fitness center Sky Wellness, as follows: 1^st place prize – 3 months pass, 2^nd place prize – 2 months pass, 3^rd place prize – 1 month pass.

Besides the satisfaction of their unconditional support, the volunteers get the official T-shirt (technical T-shirt) of the event and invitation for two persons at the Royal Garden Party that takes place at Elisabeta Palace and is hosted by His Royal Highness Mihai I.

Workshop 3: Olt Valley – Sibiu – discovering the oldest Romanian buildings

Touristic Objectives:

Cozia Monastery is one of the most authentic symbols of vernacular clerical architecture in Romania.

Roman castrum – Arutela, built during Emperor Hadrian – is one of the oldest buildings in the center of Romania.

Sinca Veche Cave Monastery – old sanctuary with a mysterious and interesting history.

Price: 200 lei, including:

1. transport by bus (3*** rated);
2. 1 night accommodation at 3*** hotels/guesthouses.

At the end of the internship, students receive:

• internship certificate (number of attended hours; premptitude; behaviour assessment, degree of knowledge acquirement);

Workshop 1 – Centre of the country: Braşov – Bran – Râşnov – Prahova Valley

Touristic objectives that will be visited:

The Black Church – is older than 500 years. Situated in the center of Braşov and Romania, it is the greatest religious edifice between Vienna and Istanbul.

Peleş Castle – is the most popular royal residence in Romania.

Pelişor Castle – one of the most eccentric royal residences in Romania, the royal couple Ferdinand and Maria lived here in 1903.

Bran Castle – is the objective that brings thousands fo people around the world due to the legend of Count Dracula (a legend between fact and fiction)

The Citadel of Râşnov – is a well-preserved peasant citadels in Transylvania.

Fortified Evanghelical Church Prejmer – is included in UNESCO heritage. It is the greatest and the best preservered fortified church in Eastern Europe.

Is the income tax rate, which the state allows you to give to a NGO, therefore, why not us – Oxigen Association – a young NGO who sets his attention to environmental problems in Romania, promoting a lasting tourism.

So what should you do ?
It’s relatively simple… and just a sheet to fill out.

If you are an employee, complete the form 230 that we can provide if you write to contact@asociatiaoxigen.ro and you can bring it to the IRS that you belong until May 23, 2014 in duplicate or we can hand it for you.

If you have decided to give 2% of your income tax to Oxigen Association, next year you will have the chance to cross a mountain trail marked by your contribution.
